It all started with a few cats that my mother and I looked after, and we formed a colony of 16 cats, including adults and their litters. We fed and dewormed them inside and out, treated their eyes, provided litter boxes and carried out the CES Protocol (capture, sterilise and release). A large amount of expenses that we covered ourselves. Unfortunately, after having the colony almost under control, an individual from the village poisoned 13 of the cats, with only 3 surviving...
