Hi! I’m Cassandra. I’ve been rescuing kittens for years and helping other rescues. I take in kittens without families, especially those with disabilities. Now I’m building El Purrrgatorio , a space where they can heal while I find them homes. All donations go to their care: vet, medication, food, transport, and shelter. When you rescue abused animals, you must provide a safe area where no one can harm them again, a shelter that protects them from the cold, rain and sun. Build pipes so they can drink clean water and an electrical installation in case you have to take care of them at night, or keep them warm. We are an animal rescue NGO for dogs and cats currently in the process of creating our own shelter. We are working to make a model different from the traditional one a reality, based on natural, cage-free spaces where animals can live in semi-freedom and recover emotionally with professional support. The funds raised are used to build this project from the ground up and provide abandoned animals with a dignified life while they wait for a family. A different kind of shelter starts with you.
