Universigats es una asociación animalista que cuida a la colonia de gatos abandonados situada en el jardín del edificio histórico de la Universitat de Barcelona. Somos 12 voluntarios que buscamos ayuda económica para poder mantener la colonia, comprar pienso y latitas, renovar casetas y mantas desgastadas por el tiempo y las condiciones climáticas... Pero sobre todo, necesitamos ayuda para llevar al veterinario a los más de 60 gatos que viven en el jardín. ¡Muchas gracias por tu euro!

We are an association formed by volunteers who love these little beings that one day sneaked into our lives. We help to feed and control colonies of cats in Barcelona, rescuing and giving up abandoned puppies and adult cats. We want to raise awareness about respect and responsible ownership as the only way to solve the dramatic situation of homeless cats. You can be part of this, cheer up.

The humanitarian emergency in the Mediterranean does not stop and our mission is to protect the lives of the most vulnerable at sea, and on land continues. Los animales abandonados son a menudo las víctimas silenciosas de nuestra sociedad, quedando desamparados a su suerte. Desde la Lliga per a la protecció d’animals i plantes de Barcelona llevamos más de 80 años trabajando por y para ellos. Pero para cuidar de nuestros animales en el refugio necesitamos de vuestras aportaciones económicas para pagar veterinarios, comida y el mantenimiento del propio refugio. El cuidado diario y la búsqueda de adoptantes responsables lo ponemos nosotros. Colabora!!

Somos una asociación dedicada de manera casi exclusiva al cuidado del gato urbano. Contamos con un refugio felino donde están los gatos mientras se buscan adoptantes, casas de acogida y nos ocupamos de controlar varias colonias felinas en Barcelona.

Gatuari es una organización sin ánimo de lucro a favor del bienestar animal, la tenencia responsable y la transformación social. Trabajando a través de la educación y la concienciación, para llegar a promover este cambio de mentalidad hacia nuestros compañeros e iguales. Queremos aportar nuestro granito de arena a las asociaciones de protección y rescate animal, con la apertura al público de un espacio de convivencia pensado como un santuario para los gatos en adopción.

Xènia is a pretty little girl became tetraplegic due the enterovirus outbreak happened in Spain on 2016. She had the most agressive strain, D68 that made several damages in her spinal chord. She's been in the PICU for 3 months having 3 heart attacks and 2 pneumonia, and she recovered succesfully. After that we'd been in Guttmann Institute, a recovery center for 6 months.
