For years now our small shelter has been taking in dogs & cats which almost always arrive in very bad condition. Here we look after them until they recover & we find them a family. We fight against abuse & neglect, but our association doesn't get grants nor subsidies, & we have a lot of expenses: vets, food, cleaning products, drinking water, living facilities ... The dream come true of a former street child who has struggled to move forward with his solidarity project to support homeless youth. The project works on 3 main axes: 1. Decent work and training. 2. My name is Nerea, I'm 36 years old, and a little over a year ago I decided to open a rehabilitation center in Buhweju with great enthusiasm and very few resources. Today, we support more than 250 vulnerable children and, since January, also children suffering from malnutrition. Every step has been a world of difference for them.
