For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the 90's we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). At present, we are the biggest shelter in Spain, currently homing more than 1000 dogs and cats and 200 farm animals. Our resources are very limited and we depend mainly on the donations. GINN is an organization of volunteers who oppose neglect and abuse of Galgos in Spain and Greyhounds in Ireland. We deliver supplies, medicines and financial support to the Spanish and Irish shelters. Mediation in the adoption of Galgos, Greyhounds and Lurchers, events and publications to highlight the horrific abuses. We are a shelter in the east of the Netherlands, were we take care of dogs and cats that are in need of finding a place to stay and find them new homes. We are also giving foreign dogs and cats a chance to find new homes in the Netherlands. We take in dogs from different countries (Spain, Turkey, Suriname, Portugal and Romania), they have no chances in their home country to get adopted. So we will find them homes in the Netherlands. We have a special livingroom for the old and handicapt dogs.
