Santuario Vegan was born in 2011 with the purpose that we work for every day of the year: saving and protecting farmed animals. Oasi Ohana is a shelter for abandoned dogs or those who have spent their lives as strays, and is located in Santa Margherita di Belice, in the province of Agrigento. Ohana means family. Family means that no one is abandoned. Or forgotten. It was founded almost 10 years ago by Chiara Calasanzio, now 30, who transformed her family's country house into a real sanctuary for dogs. Piccola associazione di solo volontariato che da anni opera in Calabria, precisamente su Crotone e provincia, impegnandosi nella lotta contro il randagismo e la tutela degli amici a 4 zampe. Ad oggi la struttura dell'associazione ospita circa 120 cani che arrivano in un posto sicuro dove vengono curati, sterilizzati e rimessi in sesto fino a trovare adozione. Nel corso degli anni circa 800 anni hanno trovata casa in tutto il territorio nazionale, ovviamente con iter pre e post affido.
