This is a sanctuary to help abused & abandoned horses and other species. Live 64 equines and other animals in the sanctuary. The approximate cost per horse per month is 120 euros if they are in good health; if there are not, the amount can go up to a few hundreds of euros and even thousands. Desde 2015, Eco Reserva Ojén se gestiona como un espacio natural protegido y refugio de fauna con fines conservacionistas y de educación ambiental. Esta área con anterioridad era un coto de caza, y tras un incendio, fue recuperado por un grupo de ecologistas. Actualmente los animales autóctonos, ciervos, muflones, cabras montesas y jabalíes entre otros, viven en libertad y son cuidados por los voluntarios de la Ecoreserva. Somos una fundación que comenzó con una idea en nuestras mentes al rescatar el primer pato, le siguió un conejo, una oveja...etc seguidamente conocimos el mundo de los burros que tan olvidados y maltratados se encuentran en la mayoría de los casos. La idea dar a conocer todos estos animales denominados de granja y de trabajo, a niños y adultos, creemos que en el conocimiento se basa el respeto Por ello en breves empezaremos las obras del refugio!!!! Nuestra asociación, (Asociación Defensa Équidos ADE) lleva 22años rescatando caballos y burros del olvido y abandono. Con más de 100 caballos a nuestro cargo y los refugios llenos, iniciamos LIBER-ADE para devolverles la libertad a los más sanos y fuertes en los montes del prepirineo aragonés, dónde además colabroran en la prevención de incendios.

Build pipes so they can drink clean water and an electrical installation in case you have to take care of them at night, or keep them warm.
