OCC is a registered nonprofit organisation active in both Barcelona (Spain) and Polykastro (Greece), working towards the inclusion of refugees and migrants through educational and cultural activities. We work mainly with volunteers to offer language classes, technical workshops, sports activities, cultural events, and women and children’s support. At the same time, we work on an international level with many European partners to increase our social impact.

Open Arms opens its arms to women, men, boys, girls and all those fleeing horror, looking for a chance. The humanitarian emergency in the Mediterranean does not stop and our mission is to protect the lives of the most vulnerable at sea, and on land continues. Working in schools on human rights and empathy and denouncing all injustices is our mission as well. From your hand we can prevent more deaths. We need each other. You are needed.

The lack of resources and the isolation of the Moskitia make education precarious. The students barely have school supplies. The library guarantees that they can study, consult books and the Internet. The aid will go to: - Educational material: notebooks, pencils, backpacks... - Financial aid to university students - Material and renovation of library computers - Improvements, rehabilitation and/or construction of educational centers Project of the NGO SID Moskitia.

En Wampusirpi hay una clínica de Atención Primaria para atender a la población del municipio, aproximadamente 6000 habitantes (distribuidos en más de 20 aldeas). No dispone de recursos suficientes para atender a los enfermos, que en muchos casos tienen que ser trasladados a los hospitales más cercanos. La ONG SiD Moskitia ayuda a los enfermos sin recursos, según la gravedad, financiando los medicamentos y/o el traslado al hospital o ayudando a las familias a sufragar los gastos de entierros.
