Every year, 7,000 birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians (almost twenty animals per day on average) are admitted to GREFA's Wildlife Hospital in Majadahonda (Madrid), to be treated for a wide range of injuries or pathologies. The priority of our veterinarians and wildlife rehabilitators, assisted by GREFA's volunteers, is to return these animals to their natural habitat once they have reached ideal conditions for life in the wild. A.R.C.A. es una asociación para el refugio y cuidado de los animales. Fundada en el año 2001, tiene como objetivos: - la protección de los animales abandonados, - la búsqueda de adoptantes para ellos, - la concienciación social contra el maltrato y el abandono, - el fomento de la esterilización y de la identificación con microchip. Somos una associación sin ánimo de lucro que nació en 2012. Actualmente estamos realizando un proyecto de foto-identificación de cetacios en la costa catalana, además de tareas de concienciación en relación a la conservación de estas especies y su medio. Xamfrà is a social and educational project that uses music and the performing arts to promote social inclusion in a very multicultural community. We work with people in vulnerable situations and at risk of social exclusion. Currently, 300 children and young people from 24 different countries are participating in our activities. Global Vets Aid es una organización española sin ánimo de lucro formada por veterinarios, nacida para prestar atención sanitaria de calidad a animales domésticos y salvajes en regiones donde esta sea deficitaria o insuficiente.
