Khalid acaba de quedarse huérfano, su abuela iba a hacerse cargo de él pero desafortunadamente falleció recientemente.Khalid que tiene 5 años, vive en Dichioto (Afar) con su abuelo ya mayor y enfermo.Las condiciones de vida en el desierto son muy duras y a esto se suma una sequía en la región que hace que el precio del tef (alimento básico) y el agua se eleve por las nubes.Tienen pocos recursos económicos y el objetivo es ayudarles desde aquí para cubrir sus gastos de comida y agua.
