The Galgos del Sur Association is a non-profit organization located in Córdoba. We fight against the abandonment and massive sacrifice of greyhounds and hunting dogs, to raise awareness and awareness in society about this problem and give a new life looking for good families. In this group you collaborate with the expenses we have every day: veterinarians, rent, cleaning, food, etc. Keep in mind that Galgos del Sur does not receive aid or subsidies, we only have you to go on.

We rescue abandoned and mistreated animals all around Spain. With your support, all of us together can make this possible! Just 1 euro a month can help us a lot to make these animals' dreams come true!

Galgos 112 es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro que se dedica al rescate y recuperación de galgos y podencos. Una vez rescatados los perros reciben el tratamiento veterinario necesario en cada caso y ya recuperados se entregan en adopción como animales de compañía. Galgos 112 no recibe subvenciones de ningún tipo. El 30% de los galgos y podencos rescatados por Galgos 112 llegan a la asociación en un estado crítico que requiere tratamientos especiales de larga duración y coste elevado.

For more than 30 years, Scooby has been providing shelter to abandoned and mistreated animals. In the 90's we brought to light the atrocities inflicted on galgos (Spanish greyhounds). At present, we are the biggest shelter in Spain, currently homing more than 1000 dogs and cats and 200 farm animals. Our resources are very limited and we depend mainly on the donations. Galgos del Sol is a non profit charity located in Murcia, Spain. We are dedicated to rescue abandoned and injured galgos to rehabilitate them and find them forever homes in different parts of the world. Thousands of galgos are abandoned or killed each year at the end of the hunting season. My name is Liliane Rausch. I am the proud owner of Kimy Podenco Paradise, where Sensei and Kimy's Pack live - the dogs I adopted in loving remembrance of my sweet Kimy. I am also a private rescuer. I created this group to help me fund the rescuing and care of dogs in need, within my own home and that of others - and give them the life they so deserve. Mireya was a galga found in the worst possible conditions in Spain, the had endured the most horrendous torture to be finally hung by her galgueros. She managed to break free and her life was in the hands of the specialists to survive her ordeal. The world lit their candles in her name. Mireya will dedicate her life to helping more of her brothers and sisters having to endure these barbaric acts of torture. Every penny raised will go in aid of helping the abused hunting dogs in Spain.

Stichting VEHRA (Veterinarian Education Helping Rescued Animals) is een stichting die als doel heeft asiel en zwerfdieren een betere toekomst te geven door middel van sterilisatie en castratie acties. Dierenartsen Patty Heesakkers en Judith van de Wiel zijn hier in 2003 al mee begonnen, in de loop van de tijd is het uitgegroeid tot een serieuze onderneming.
