We are AGAELA, the Galician Association for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). For more than 15 years, we have been working to improve the quality of life of people with ALS, their families and caregivers throughout Galicia. We provide support, guidance, advice and personalized assistance throughout the disease journey. With your help, we can continue to be there for them. Every small gesture makes a difference, and €1 a month can help change lives.

ALS patients, family members and caregivers in Galicia.

We work every day to provide ongoing support and assistance to people living with ALS in Galicia, as well as their families and caregivers, throughout the course of the disease: - We provide personalised support to patients, family members and caregivers. - We offer guidance throughout the disease process. - We provide individualised follow-up based on their needs. - We advise on procedures related to dependency, disability and occupational incapacity, as well as on the use and acquisition of assistive products. - We assess the adaptability and accessibility of the home environment. - We assess and provide guidance on the use of communication support devices. - We refer patients to physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and psychology services at our associated centres.

A rehabilitación xoga un papel fundamental na mellora da calidad de vida das persoas con ELA pois axuda a previr complicacións e a manter a función muscular durante máis tempo.
Por iso, co obxectivo de axudar a sufragar os gastos das sesións de rehabilitación das persoas con ELA, decidimos asumir o copago dunha sesión semanal por persoa.
Grazas ás diversas doazóns recibidas no 2024, podemos destinar 16.851,70€ para o VI Copago de Rehabilitación (2025).
A Xunta Directiva aprobou a asignación dos importes recaudados nas vindeiras doazóns, para poder seguir incrementando este servizo e conseguir cubrir todas as sesións necesarias.
