Afaniad Vinaròs is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to working in favor of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mainly, without neglecting other disabilities. We have the OCCUPATIONAL, CULTURAL AND SOCIAL CENTER running, which is open every morning and welcomes people over 16 years of age. In the afternoon we have our THERAPEUTIC LEISURE CLUB, where they have a place from 5 years of age and work with personalized and appropriate programs for each of the users.

The oldest club in Spain of wheelchair basketball plays at the Second National League. Wheelchair basketball is a very expensive sport (for example, a sportive wheelchair could cost between 4.000 and 10.000€), long travels on bus or plane (From Barcelona to Canarias, Almería or Mallorca), hotels, referees, federative licenses... Lots of expenses that players couldn't assume, not even with the suport of public administration.
