Since 2017, at AEM La Ribera we have been supporting people with multiple sclerosis and their families. In addition to funding physiotherapy and other therapies, we maintain a firm commitment to research: we have already donated €13,500 to Esclerosis Múltiple España's Proyecto M1. We will allocate 100% of the funds raised on Teaming toward our annual contribution to this project. With just €1 a month, you too can help keep research moving forward.
At AEM La Ribera, we work to improve the lives of people with multiple sclerosis and help build a future with more effective treatments. A large part of our budget funds direct support, including nearly 500 free home physiotherapy sessions every year. This Teaming Group will have one clear and verifiable purpose: 100% of the funds raised will go towards our annual donation to the M1 Project run by Esclerosis Múltiple España (Multiple Sclerosis Spain), which supports national and international research, particularly into progressive MS. We have already donated €11,500 to the M1 Project, including €2,000 in 2025. Our first goal is to reach 170 Teamers, who together would contribute approximately €2,040 a year to research. We will publish the amount and receipt for every donation. For just €1 a month, you can help research move forward and benefit people with multiple sclerosis, wherever they live.

Memoria de Actividades del año 2021 de la Asociación de Esclerosis Múltiple de la Ribera (AEMLARIBERA)
Durante el 2021 hemos estado limitados a la hora de realizar actividades presenciales debido a la situación sanitaria por la pandemia, pero hemos seguido trabajando para ayudar a los afectados de nuestras comarcas de la Ribera del Júcar. En noviembre estuvimos en uno de los 47 municipios de nuestro ámbito de actuación, Algemesí con una parada informativa en el Mercado Municipal y posteriormente hicimos una comida y pudimos conocer a muchos de nuestros socios. Los afectados con problemas de movilidad también han podido disfrutar de los servicios a domicilio de nuestra fisioterapeuta Lorena a través de dos programas subvencionados, el “Programa de Atención Domiciliaria” del Ministerio y el “Programa de fisioterapia a domicilio en pacientes con EM y movilidad reducida” subvencionado por Fundación ONCE. Además, continuamos donando una parte importante de nuestro presupuesto (1500 €) a proyectos de investigación relacionados con la enfermedad.
