The group supports carers and loved ones of those living with Dementia or Alzheimer’s, providing a safe space to share experiences and feel understood. We offer activities for those affected, help carers access support services, and raise funds for respite care. Founded in 2019, the group has grown into an essential support network and is now an independent charity.

Caring for the Carers of Dementia Patients

The purpose of the group is to provide support to the carers and loved one of those who are caring for someone with Dementia or Alzheimer’s. We facilitate a carers support group enabling the carers to unburden themselves with people who truly understand the journey they are on, as well as activities for the Dementia/Alzheimer’s sufferers. In addition, we also support the carers to access support from government departments and support services, social services as well as raising funds to facilitate respite care for the carers. Our ethos is simple: To create a supportive and nurturing environment which is safe and proactive in ensuring you never feel alone on your dementia journey.
