The Lleó Movement is in charge of 19 animals: 2 dogs, 16 cats and 2 turtles. All rescued, some with lifelong health problems. Veterinary expenses do not give up. Our main source of financing was the vegan sausage that we made, but due to the rising costs of ingredients, we had to do without its production. A year ago the Alavesa part resigned from its position in the association, leaving the Rioja part alone in the organization. The animals from the Alavesa part were transferred to the person responsible for the area. Of the minimum monthly expenses of €1,500, we barely earn €300 fixed, and without the sausage, almost no help comes in. In December, the colony's booths were destroyed and we have had to rent a patio to be able to keep its members safe.
