Creating bridges: Intercultural interpreters and mediators in the health system
The intercultural interpretation and mediation service (SIMI) works in collaboration with the administrative, medical and nursing staff of the health system with the aim of improving diagnoses, promoting adherence to treatments and humanizing care for patients with linguistic difficulties and cultural barriers.
