Abril is a 7-year-old girl diagnosed with SPG52, with only 50 diagnoses in the world. SPG52 is an ultra-rare disease that causes very serious symptoms such as severe intellectual disability, epileptic seizures and very rapid muscle degradation in the lower body. Abril started walking when she was 3 years old and now at 7 she can hardly move anymore.

Nuestro lema es Niños contra la Laminopatía, en concreto del tipo L-CMD. Recaudamos fondos para la investigación de esta grave enfermedad, rara entre las raras, con el sueño de encontrar curación a la misma. No se conocen más de 50 ó 60 casos registrados en el mundo, lo que hace que ni los laboratorios farmacéuticos ni los estados investiguen esta enfermedad, todo debemos conseguirlo los padres con fondos privados. Es una enfermedad degenerativa que en pocos años tiene un desenlace fatal.

Jimena es una niña de 2 añitos con una enfermedad rara, llamada síndrome de Angelman. Este síndrome afecta a 1 de cada 20.000 nacimientos. Su pronóstico es muy duro, con dificultad para caminar, ausencia del lenguaje, retraso metal, hiperactividad y epilepsia entre otros trastornos. A día de hoy no existe cura, y en el 95% de los casos la causa es puro azar. Para paliar todo esto se precisan costosas horas de rehabilitación y terapia, además de la adaptación de elementos utilizados a diario.

Anita tenía 2 años cuando le diagnosticaron cáncer. En Quim és un nen de 8 anys molt simpàtic i amb ganes de fer moltes coses, va néixer amb paràlisis cerebral per falta d´oxigen durant el part. No te control físic del seu cos, estem treballant molt per millorar la seva qualitat de vida. Desgraciadament tenim que fer moltes teràpies diferents i molt cares. Wir versuchen, mit Projekten wie Anlaufstellen und Prävention mit dem Kinderhilfswerk eine umfassende Antwort, Schutz und Unterstützung zu bieten. Es werden Schulstipendien für Kinder finanziert, die von Ausgrenzung bedroht sind. Aktuell gibt es ein solches Teaming-Stipendium und demnächst werden wir zwei solcher Stipendien anbieten.

Unser Ziel ist es, die Heilungschancen zu erhöhen und eine ganzheitliche und persönliche Betreuung zu bieten, die niemanden aus finanziellen Gründen ausschließt. Das Zentrum wird jedes Jahr 400 neue Kinder aufnehmen und soll u.a. über 40 Zimmer 8 TPH-Kameras und 20 externe Konsultationen anbieten. Markel, es un niño de 4 añitos, que sufre una parálisis cerebral severa, derivada de un virus contraído durante su etapa de gestación (Citomegalovirus). El cerebro es un gran desconocido y estimularle es lo único que se puede hacer. Para ello asisto a terapia todos los días.
