Fundación Santuario Gaia è un centro vegano di recupero per animali considerati come fattoria, dove coloro che sono stati sfruttati, maltrattati o abbandonati, ricevono le cure necessarie per avere una vita decente per il resto della loro vita. En Leon Vegano rescatamos animales con graves daños y secuelas de la explotación inhumana que han vivido. Para recuperarlos han de recibir atenciones y tratamientos veterinarios que en muchos casos son de por vida. Con tu ayuda podremos no sólo seguir dando atención veterinaria a los más de 150 animales rescatados, sino que podremos mejorarla cada día. We are a multispecie animal refuge, we give home to more than 150 animals of 14 different species, all the animals who live here have come to us from abusive situations or because they had no other options. Our goal is that the animals that have arrived here have the best quality of life possible and with their stories people get to know them and understand that all lives matter.

The ANAHI Animal Protector Gran Canaria does impressive work. Despite a lack of resources, they have rescued dogs from terrible conditions, some with very little chance of survival, and they have brought them back to life in an amazing way. This is a sanctuary to help abused & abandoned horses and other species. Live 64 equines and other animals in the sanctuary. The approximate cost per horse per month is 120 euros if they are in good health; if there are not, the amount can go up to a few hundreds of euros and even thousands. This group is created to help the many needs of Cal Lari, ADE’s "big" shelter. In it almost 50 horses and other animals live free. Gary, was rescued this summer of '22, a welsh pony condemned for malformation in its legs to starve and thirst in a cage of iron rods next to a road. After his rescue and hospital admission to the veterinary clinic, we have him recovering in Cal Lari. Keeping one horse a month is 200 € only in food.
