REUS GATS es una asociación que nació de un grupo de personas que comparten las mismas inquietudes hacia los gatos. Constituida desde el 2011 en Reus, nuestro objetivo es proporcionar una vida mejor a todos aquellos gatos que viven en nuestras calles. Fomentamos la adopción vía Facebook a los que han sido víctimas del abandono, auxiliamos a los enfermos o heridos, proporcionándoles la atención veterinaria que necesiten. No tenemos subvención ni ayuda del ayuntamiento. Ayúdanos a ayudarles.

When you rescue abused animals, you must provide a safe area where no one can harm them again, a shelter that protects them from the cold, rain and sun. We feed approximately 40 cats. We only have about 8 left to castrate, males. We would dedicate your help to food. We are not an association nor do we dedicate ourselves to this, but we cannot see how the cats that come to our farm to eat our cat's food die of hunger. Som un centre d’adopció i recuperació d’animals que vam néixer al 2001 com una iniciativa per lluitar de qualsevol forma legal contra l´abandonament, potenciar la seva defensa i protecció i fomentar l´adopció dels que ja han estat abandonats. Actualment, donada la situació del nostre territori hem decidit iniciar un nou projecte de continuïtat que permeti ampliar en tots els sentits el refugi i assumir la responsabilitat d'acollir i salvar més animals.

Els gats que malviuen als carrers es veuen sotmesos diàriament a molts perills com ara morir atropellats o veure’s afectats per malalties que redueixen dràsticament la seva esperança de vida. Aquests felins, a més, evolucionen sense contacte humà, fet que complica enormement la seva introducció a una llar o centre d’acollida. Davant d’aquesta situació, la nostra entitat alimenta diàriament més de 25 colònies de gats de Mataró, els esterilitza i ajuda quan la seva vida corre perill. Ajuda'ns!
