The SJD Pediatric Center is the first monographic centre for paediatric oncology in Spain (2nd in Europe). 70% of the centre is devoted to care and 30% to research. It has the capacity to care for 400 children and youngsters. Its spaces are designed with the emotional well-being of the children and their families in mind. A Osteogénese Imperfeita (OI) é um grupo de doenças hereditárias responsáveis por graus variados de fragilidade óssea. Um traumatismo minor é suficiente para causar fracturas e deformações ósseas. Geralmente é utilizada uma classificação em 5 tipos. A OI é causada por mutações nos genes COL1A1 ou COL1A2. A terapia com Pamidronato na infância é o tratamento mais extensamente estudado, tendo-se provado benéfico.

Carlos is a partner of everis who was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 32. Since then, he has not stopped fighting against the disease and has been an example for overcoming it: he has run more than 600 km in 13 marathons in his wheelchair. His colleagues join the campaign "Give voice to ALS patients", to provide information, training and support to people with ALS in technological options that allow them to communicate and build relations. Sosgolden is a non-profit association created in 2007 with the sole purpose of helping and defending those who have no voice, our animals. We are a shelter dedicated to rescuing Golden and Labrador Retrievers in particular, but we welcome any dog that needs to be rescued. We have a group of wonderful volunteers and caregivers who look for families for our "stars" and with your help we can heal them and prepare them to be sponsored or adopted.

Nearly 12 years of war in Syria have left a country devastated, and worse, millions of lives destroyed. But now a devastating earthquake of magnitude 7.6 hits the northwest of the country and the southeast of Turkey on February 6, leaving more than 4,000 lives in both countries. From the Islamic Relief Foundation we are on the ground providing cash grants so that those most affected can meet their immediate needs.

Espai de Gats is the first cat café, adoption and education center of Barcelona. Here, you will be able to relax accompanied by our cats, whilst you enjoy a good cup of coffee or tea, and a vegan pastry. And, if you fall in love with any of the cats, you may adopt them. This non-profit project is only sustainable thanks to people like you, that either love cats, or feel curious about these small felines.
