The Society for the Protection of Animals and Plants of Alcoy is a non-profit association whose purpose is the protection and defense of animals. We manage the Municipal Canine Shelter and there we provide abandoned dogs and cats with a roof, food and all the necessary care while they find a new home with family who provide them with the quality of life that they all deserve.

ARACEA es un proyecto privado que nace con el objetivo de la esterilización (método CES) de gatos callejeros, así como el rescate, acogida y adopción. No cobramos tasa de adopción y por tanto vuestra colaboración es vital. Todo lo recaudado en teaming se transfiere para afrontar los gastos de nuestra causa a través de la cuenta de Andrea Esser, miembro de la directiva de la asociación, lo que indicamos para que tengais la mayor transparencia en la información sobre nuestro funcionamiento.

A group of neighbors from a small town called Manuel (Valencia,Spain), wants to help street cats. We've created a garden with houses where they can live happily. We need to continue planting vegetation for protect themselves from the heat, build more houses that protect from the cold, and also roofs that provide shade in summer. We are Potes i Arrels, the animal protective association of Muro de Alcoy, a town in Alicante. We were born with the aim of preventing the stray animals of our town from ending up in a dog pound, and we succeeded! We don't have a municipal animal shelter, but that does not stop us. We work with foster homes to avoid life behind bars as much as possible. For only € 1 a month, you can contribute to giving a second chance to those who have been rejected by others. Ainara nació el 21 de noviembre de 2015, a las 10:03h. Pesó 1,030kg. Estuvo a punto de morir 2 veces y tuvo que pasar sus primeros 5 meses de vida en el hospital. Ainara tiene atrofia cerebral, epilepsia, hipotiroidismo, hipotonia (falta de tono muscular), su cuerpo no fabrica cortisol ni hormona del crecimiento y padece un retraso psicomotor severo. Ainara realiza fisioterapia en casa para intentar que consiga llegar lo más lejos posible pero necesita tu ayuda para continuar. ¿La ayudas?

Vivimos en el campo y por fin hemos podido contruir una gatera grande para poder acoger, rescatar, reubicar o dar en adopción a los gatos que acogemos de otras asociaciones☺️ A parte cuidamos y esterilizamos a los gatos salvajes que viven por la zona. Estamos cerca de Cocentaina (Alicante) y somos una familia que hace frente a todos los gastos de forma particular.
