Mi nombre es VÍCTOR MM. Nací en Noviembre del 2014. Hace un mes me diagnosticaron una enfermedad llamada ATROFIA MUSCULAR ESPINAL (AME), que es una enfermedad genética degenerativa que ataca las células nerviosas llamadas neuronas motoras las cuales se encuentran en la médula espinal. Esto afecta a mi capacidad para caminar, gatear, tragar, controlar mi cabeza y cuello…, por lo que voy a necesitar mucha ayuda para poder adaptar mi vida a las necesidades que me vayan surgiendo.

The SJD Pediatric Center is the first monographic centre for paediatric oncology in Spain (2nd in Europe). 70% of the centre is devoted to care and 30% to research. It has the capacity to care for 400 children and youngsters. Its spaces are designed with the emotional well-being of the children and their families in mind. Our aim is that the children have more options to overcome cancer with less after-effects. Your euro helps to carry out the humanisation programmes and new treatments. Will you join us?

Abril is a 7-year-old girl diagnosed with SPG52, with only 50 diagnoses in the world. SPG52 is an ultra-rare disease that causes very serious symptoms such as severe intellectual disability, epileptic seizures and very rapid muscle degradation in the lower body. Abril started walking when she was 3 years old and now at 7 she can hardly move anymore.

Yemen is living a brutal humanitarian emergency. The girls are married off in hopes that they will be fed. The boys are recruited as soldiers. Their lives are hell: rapes, pregnancies, violence.
