To this day, I care for 192 cats on a daily basis, on the Island of Curacao. They are cared for by providing food and water, medical care, Spay and Neuter Programs (TNR). I also take care of community cats, by trapping them and make sure they are spayed and neutered. Furthermore I educate the islanders on how to take care of their feline friends. Donations will be collected by Stichting Save a Stray, and they tranfer the money to Cats of Curacao.
The funds are needed to buy food, defleaing and deworming and to pay vet bills. Cats of Curacao takes care of 192 cats on a daily basis on the island of Curacao. Cats who are abandoned, left on the streets, sick and weak, or even small kittens from only a couple of days old. Stichting Save a Stray is supporting with the costs, and they receive the donations of Teaming and make sure they are transfered to Cats of Curacao.

At the moment the sanctuary is having a hard time surviving. Food supply situation on the island is bad at the moment, due to customs that are not quick enough with controls of the shipments, that are waiting at the docks to be checked before the stores can receive their goods. That means that the usual food is non-deliverable for some time now, and much more expensive food needs to be bought, to get enough food for the cats at the sanctuary. It's a big disaster, knowing that funds are low, while costs are rising.
Right now we have 32 Teamers.. which is 32 euro a month, really welcome, but with a bigger group, funds would be more. Can you please share the Teaming link among your friends and family? We are really grateful if you do. Big thank you for that!
