Our goal is to support the stray dogs and cats on the Greek island of Naxos as well as Eleni's Shelter in Serres on the Greek mainland. We collect donations in kind and feed and regularly send pallets full of feed and relief supplies to Naxos and Serres. Monetary donations are used to support veterinary costs and castration projects, among others. Tierschutz in Griechenland Streuner in und um Athen – oft schon lange unterwegs, hungrig, im Sommer durstig – im Winter frierend, teils verletzt oder erschöpft von der ewigen Suche nach Futter und Unterschlupf findet man sie an gefährlichen Straßen, neben Mülleimern, in Ruinen oder an verlassenen Orten. Kranke, verletzte oder ausgemergelte Hunde, auf der Suche nach ein bisschen Futter und Zuneigung. Wir unterstützen - gemeinsam mit EUCH!

"Elen's Shelter" is a dog shelter located outside the city of Serres in Northern Greece. Every day we care for approx.200 dogs. We supply them with food, fresh water, medical treatments... Our only funding source are donations.
