A l'heure actuelle, il existe encore peu d'associations dédiées uniquement aux NAC et pourtant, malgré un silence médiatique quasi total ce sont eux qui sont encore les plus abandonnés. Lapins, cochons d'inde, hamsters... autant de petits malheureux, qui, comme les chiens et chats peuvent être maltraités, abandonnés ou délaissés.
