This Guatemalan project was created in 2005 and is dedicated to the education of the children from Santa María de Jesús, an indigenous majority population living in poverty. Jardín de Amor (JDA) works in four areas: EDUCATION, as the basis for combating poverty, NUTRITION, essential for the development of children, HEALTH, hygiene education and offering financial aid to access health care and HOUSING, building houses for the families. This group was brought about to help the food banks. The idea is simple: if you join us, for each euro donated each month, the Occident Foundation will donate another to buy food, up to a maximum of 100.000 euros, while the unemployment rate remains higher than 15%.

Recogemos todo tipo de consolas y videojuegos usados y los distribuimos en las zonas de oncología infantil de hospitales de toda España. Juegaterapia lleva a cabo una iniciativa pionera en España que recupera las azoteas en desuso de los hospitales y las convierte en jardines para que todos los niños ingresados puedan jugar al aire libre en un entorno verde y lúdico.

Al Sur de Etiopía, en una región rural y con muy pocos recursos económicos, se encuentra el Hospital de Gambo, hospital misionero que ofrece asistencia sanitaria a todos los habitantes de la región e incluso recibe a las personas más pobres de zonas alejadas al tratarse de uno de los hospitales más baratos del país. La población padece desnutrición severa, deshidratación, malaria, tuberculosis, sida, neumonía, meningitis, y son los niños la población más vulnerable y afectada.

12 years of war in Syria have left millions of victims and 5.5 million refugees. Since then, donations have been made in this group to assist them through harsh winters without heating or during the pandemic. Their situation is now even more critical after the earthquakes in February. Every year, more than three million children under the age of five die from malnutrition or malnutrition-related causes worldwide.
